Hey guys,

I just replaced the headlights on my '02 CL600 with '03+ style ones but there is a wiring issue and I was wondering if anyone might be able to help?

I ordered a upgrade harness from Germany but the wiring schematic they included doesn't match up quite right with my fuse box (see below).

There are three wires coming off it - a red power wire, a brown ground, and a -yellow- wire I have no clue what to do with.

On the wiring schematic that was provided this wire is shown going into pin 3 on plug N47:


Unfortunately I can't even find plug N47 in my car's fuse box:

! :-(

So yeah, if anyone can help me out here I would really appreciate it... This has been way more of an ordeal than I anticipated & I'm almost ready to drop it off at the dealers just to get it all over with.

P.S. Fyi - My blinkers are currently non-functional. (Though I do get a "Turn Signal Error" message displayed on my speedo whenever I attempt to use them so at least my car is aware of the problem...) Hopefully getting this yellow wire hooked up will fix them... otherwise I might have to visit my dealer for real.

Were you able to get your headlights setup?

I have a 01 CL600 and wanting to upgrade my headlights to the 03-06 headlights.

Any sugestion to getting the harness and wiring this up. I know that the plug on the back is different.

Yes but it was a nightmare. My guy can do it though 636-949-8181 ask for Angelo or Ken if he's not there. Use my name and hopefully they will know what you are talking about.
