Replacing 1983 300SD Turbo Diesel Lower Oil Cooler Hose
I'm replacing the 300SD Turbo Diesel Lower Oil Cooler Hose for the first time and looking for a good set of instructions.
MercedesSource makes a good set of instructions (http://mercedessource.com/node/2232) but I didn't buy my part from them. Does anyone have that set of instructions?
Also IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE, I would really love to have a mentor for this project..

I know ol' Kent makes it out to be difficult but it's not like you are tearing the engine down.
Disconnect the old one, run the new one the same way and attach the ends.
The hydraulic fitting wrench is a good idea since those nuts are easy to booger up.

I did the job on my old 82. I also removed the engine mount and jacked that one side of the engine up.
I don;t remember all that I did, but I do remember after I was all done, I thought, hmmm, wasn't that hard after all.

Good show, Fred!
Cars are really not that complicated, especially diesels.
Look at what needs to be done, keep track of your parts and hardware and take your time.
A good repair manual is a great tool, too.
