Sudden loss of power and engine shutting off
hey i have an s500 w140 and the triangle with the exclamation point stays on in the dashboard. what does it mean? when i drive the car runs well except sometimes it feels like theres a loss of engine power for like 1 second like the car braked or something. its like im driving fine then all of a sudden the car feels like it hit the brakes or stopped the engine for a quick moment then the car continues to drive fine right after. what is wrong with it? anyone know what usually causes this? also when i was parked in the driveway the engine shut off during idle. thanks

Mercedes SL55 AMG and S600
I has some similar problems with my S600. On a couple of occassions the engine died right after I made a turn. They told me it was the fuel pump, which has to be replaced. They said it eventually would have simply not started. Hope this helps.
