Hi,

Need some help. I have a 2003 E500 with 101K miles. The car was tuned up a week ago and runs great with one exception. Occasionally, there is a hesitation almost like a jerk or missfire when acelerating. It does not happen all the time but i would like to know what would cause this.

Clogged injector? Dirty fuel filter? Bad fuel pump?

I would be willing to bet if I was to put it on my computer it would have a (Hot film) code. Which mean air/mass sensor. Mercedes is famous for them. Check engine light will not come on all the time but it will store this code in the stored faults. So what I would tell you to do is have them scan the car for codes.

Bosch is famous for them.
