Snowstorm! Wipers Stuck - Help me get home!
My g55 wipers started acting up driving today. They would work on full speed and would go half way on intermittent then stop. After a while, they stopped completely. I hear a click at the passenger footwell, so I am thinking it is the relay?
So, short question, can this be rigged to work to get us home? What about the rear wiper relay, could that be swapped???
Help!

Check if they work normally once the screen has been cleared. Late model Mb's have built in wiper protection. If the wipers sence a blockage (snow/ice buildup) then they reduce their movement to protect them from damage. If you restart the car after the obstruction has been cleared then the wipers should start doing full sweeps again.
