I own a clk500 and a couple of months a ago my passenger bixenon lamp was emitting a pinkish light. Eventually, the whole lamp stopped working. I swapped bulbs to make sure that was not the issue. I brought it to the shop and was told the ballast was burnt out. I was wondering if I should buy a new ballast or a used one? or perhaps buy new lamps because my lamp lens are oxidized? and if I go with buying a ballast should i buy two new ones and use my old functional one as a spare?
