1984 500SEL/AMG Euro,
84 500SEL/AMG..EURO...Dont Speak or read German

Just bought this car and "EVERYTHING" is in German...Ahhh !!!
What type fluid is used in the suspension system....And how would one bring the "idle" up to around 900rpm....after warm up..
Sorry,,,I'm new to the Mercedes Car world..and even newer to this site LOL !!!! Need a "Mentor" or at least some sound advise...James

An MB dealer should have all the info you need and can also supply you with manuals in english. Why would you want the idle to be at 900RPM?? Believe this is much too high. about 600 should be the correct setting. You may have some difficulty getting certain parts with your gray market car as there are some items that are not used on US cars that dealers do not stock. Is this vehicle converted to pass the US requirements??
