THERMOSTAT plzzz help :S

Hi,
My CEL turned on a couple of months ago. When I finally went to the garage,

they told me I had to change the thermostat, which I did. Now on my board,

i can see the temperature, which i never did used to see before. After a short

drive, i see that the temp reaches 90. Is it normal, considering the weather

outside is still cold. Plus, when they guy changed the piece, he didnt drain

the cooling liquid nor did he add distilled water. In actually not sure he

knew what he was doing ( I didnt go to the dealer ). Plus when he added

coolin liquid the one that was in he tank was red, he added green liquid

cuz he didnt have anymore red. Is it bad???

Should I be worried about the temperature reachin 90???
Should I get the job checked by sm1 else??

I checked my 2010 R350 today and it seems to run around 85 to 90. Yours sounds fine to me.

I would drain the coolant and add new MB coolant/water
