Car stalls while driving.

The Car:

2000 E320
W210

Mileage: ~120K

Problem:
Call stalls while driving. It has happened a few times already. Usually you would have to wait around 30min because it would start again. My mom said the ABS, EBD, etc lights show up. But the thing is, when I looked at the car, there isn't any CEL or malfunction that the computer has displayed. The car has stalled both while moving and at a stop.

A friend of mine said it might be the crankshaft position sensor.

Any ideas?

Listen to your friend - CPS - crank position sensor.

Hmm, alright.

I'm going to borrow a friend's OBDII scanner today. Is there anything I should look for that would mean the sensor is dead/ out of range?

Now time to find the part online & a DIY...

Agree, usually CPS wont turn the CEL light either. Good place to start.

I'm a bit confused about the part #

I'm on autohausaz and it says 0261210141 and 0261210170

Both are BOSCH OEM but one is cheaper than the other. Also, one is for models with engine serial number through 370998 and the other is For models with engine serial number from 370999.

So which one?
