2006 E55 Dashboard lights and gauges

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forum and any help would be much appreciated. I started my car this morning to find my dashboard was completely dead. No lights, speedo and tach dead. No temp or fuel gauge. Has this ever happened to anyone? Any idea's where to start looking? I would rather not take it to the dealer unless it's major. And even then I'm scared to take it to the dealer.

Thanks for any help in advance.

For such a wide spread of items, (lighting and indication) I would guess you may have lost the grounding connection that completes the circuits to your panel.

Hey Guys, thanks for your help. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and that worked. Good as new.

Thanks again
