AC conversion to R134

I have a 1988 300E with a new style AC compressor. The one for R134. What has to be done to my system to use 134 in place of R12?

Thanks
George

To convert from R12 to R134a the compressor oil has to be drained (old was a mineral oil, R134a requires an Esther based oil), the dryer bottle needs to be switched and the two pressue switches also have to be replaced. That's all. I had it done by the MB dealer's shop and supprisingly enough it was not even expensive ( ~$ 350)
