Suggestions for brake bleeder
I need to get a brake bleeder. I really like the Griots pneumatic/compressor one but at $190 it seems an insane price to pay for something that will get very little use.
Any thoughts?

It's by far not worth it to have a brake bleeder unit. Removing the brake fluid, advised every two years or so, shall be done in a garage. Any Midas or Pit Stop can do at low cost and a certain warranty. I had my cars done and paid like $ 39 for the whole thing. Just wait until they have special offers.
You can also do it the old fashioned way, which is not much extra work compaired to have a "Professional bleeder unit". In any case you have to go underneath the car and open/close the individual brake cylinders anyway. The cost then is only the fliud and 1 hour of you time.

the griots unit is awesome. however if you are going to bleed/replace the brake fluid on an abs unit you will need to pulse the valves to bleed it properly. at least this is what i have heard, im not completely sure. for this you will need the proper computer or whatever to pulse the valves.

I need this because I am changing my calipers. That's the reason for the bleed. Dealer wanted $300 to install the calipers - that's ridiculous. I can do this work myself in about 2 hours with a 1/2 hour break in between sides!
