Break rubbing sound

Hi, have a GLK350,

Just noticed a unpleasant sound towards the front passenger side, When I lightly apply the break, it makes a staggered rubbing sound, nothing grindy or high pitched, and only when I press about 5-10% on the break, once I press it further it feels as though everything is normal and breaks are strong. I've inspected the rotors and I don't see anything unusual, anyone have an idea?

Thxs

E550 coupe
A similar thing was happening to my 2010 e550c. Drivers rear though, it started out a very light noise then became a horrible grinding/screech within a week. Turned out the parking break clip broke somehow so i guess the parking break was just loose and rubbing inside the wheel. I will get the car Back next week, but I hope they didn't just replace the clip because the car was driven a few hundred miles and that can't be good for the rotor or wheel I'm assuming.
