03 c class
C class ac problem

Hi I just bought a 03 c class and I'm having a problem working the ac when turned on it always shoots out at the feet no mater where I point it there's always cold air coming at the feet how do I stop that so that air can come out only in the front , it's very uncomfortable. Thnx to any replies and please exuse my English :-)

the c classes have electrical motors and linkages that can jam or a linkage can break. Best bet is to normalize the motors to see if they can move. If your car is capable you can do this while the car is running by holding the defrost and recirculating air button at the same time until the leds flash back and forth, then the normalization process runs
