CDI Braided fuel lines

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket braided fuel for the low pressure lines on a 2002 C270 CDI. The plastic lines get brittle a crack easily. They also sit very close to the fan belt, so if that breaks, the lines break (that just happened to me).

Just to give a better idea of what I'm looking for, it is part 216 on the following picture. Part Number A 612 070 32 32

Regards,
Gary.

Thanks. I'll do that. The only snag is that I will have to buy the original for the plugs or clips. Merc in south Africa don't sell them as loose items.

I can use the old parts, but they are 10 years old and made of plastic. The clips I'm talking about are the bits that plug into the pump and are shown in this attachment;

I would have liked it if there was an after market, ready made product. It does not look like there is. I'll have to make my own as you have suggested. Thanks for the replies.
