Brakes

Hi all,
May be a silly question, but just curious. How do I know when i need new brakes (pads, rotors, calipers, etc)? Thanks!

If something went wrong with your braking system, say pads, a warning yellow light would show up on the dash with a symbol. The rotor? When you change your pads, you could see the condition of the rotor. And finally, the calipers are pretty tough in these cars. the hydraulic line might brake before your calipers.

You should visibly inspect the pads for lining thickness. Relying on the sensors is not a good idea.
