Check the water pump - did the impeller break off?

Lets rule more stuff out...

A/C on? (Could be causing the radiator fan to run), and help mask an overheat.
Manually override auto climate function to force full heat?
Car driven long enough to ensure it doesn't overheat?
How much coolant in expansion tank?
Did you run thru warmup with expansion tank cap off?

No AC is off how do i over ride climate function, does have enough coolant in the reservoir. And the warm up is it just running the car with the top off until the air get out of the lines?

Pick a vent setting manually - center is easiest to test. Manually adjust temperature to highest temp setting possible. Climate control fan speed doesn't really matter. This will ensure that the heater control valve is open (if functioning properly). From a cold start a bleed method is possible by reaching operating temp with the expansion cap off. Then cap it and drive the car to increase coolant flow better than idle or briefly revving the engine.

Does the radiator fan immediately turn on high, even when the car is cold?
