W164 ML350 Electrical Haywire! Please Help!

This is by far the weirdest electrical problem I ever came across.. After simply pulling the wiper relay to replace, everything suddenly went wrong.

Message on instrument panel: drive to workshop without changing gear!
Car is now stuck in park and is going nowhere fast.
I can't get it out of the driveway!

Had the star on it yesterday and could not get communication to FOURmodules:
ME 9.7 (Motor electronics)
ESP
ISM
TRANSMISSION.

I have checked all fuses and swapped around relays.

I have checked the following for any loose connections or corrosion or shorts:

-CGW
-ECU
-Transfer Controller
-Electric control unit
-Front and Rear SAM

All come up OK.

Does anybody have any info or suggestions please? Anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks all.
