How to change front SAM module on 99 CLK430??

My front SAM on my 99 CLK 430 has died and all diagnostics point this direction. (Horn, turn signals, windshield wipers and fluid pump motor, hazard lights all not working). I plan to buy a used SAM module (mine is the 019 545 5632 part number) and install myself. I can't figure out how to actually remove my existing SAM from the bottom of my fuse/relay box assembly? I can't get it to budge even though all pics I have seen show it only attached by two "posts". Anyone know the trick to getting it off?

Also, I assume that if I get one that came off a CLK I won't have to reprogram it to get it to work on my car. I have heard conflicting info on this just want to make sure before I go through all the effort.

Thanks for any help!

Guess I'm just going to get one off ebay and give it a try.... odd no feedback since I know this is a fairly common problem with w208. Oh well!
