2007 CLS550 Transmission speed sensor problem
I just bought this car with only 35k miles. It was perfect until last month when the transmission would go into limp mode. I could reset it my turning off car and restarting. From what I have read this is a costly repair. My question is, will it get worse or is it something I can live with? Does placing it in comfort or sports mode make a difference in prolonging the problem?

you wont be able to live with it for long, it will probably end up needing a valve body at worst. your best bet is to take it to the dealer have them diag it do a bunch of *****ing and try to at least get the parts goodwilled so you only have to pay labor. 2nd option is hurry and buy an extended warranty then take it in and let them cover it for the cost of your deductible. This is not a job i would recommend doing at home on your own.
