w220 mysteriously stalling

hi guys..

I have this problem on my car. The problem seems to be that the car just stalls during driving. When you try to restart the car, the engine only cranks but wont start. after about an 1hr wait...the car can be started again, but will stall suddenly after about 1/2hr.
then after sometime..the car will start again..but stalls again..and so on.

The problem all started when the first stall was due to a weak battery. I tried to jump start it (didnt know then that it was a bad idea) but couldnt cause i reckon the battery wasnt strong enough as it needed a 100Ah battery. After having the battery replaced and the ECU all reseted, the car start fine again. From then on, the car start to stall.

After my mechanic tapped into the ECU, there seems to be no problem. He also check the ECU (Rear SAM) located under the back seat where some of the relays sits. After swapping the fuel pump relay with the heater, the problem persisted. He also check the current and nothing was wrong. The only problem that he discovered after when the car stalled and trying to restart, he noticed that the fuel pump does not run (no buzzing sound) and testing it shows no current going through. However, after further testing, he found that once in awhile, there is current. So he checks the rear ECU (Rear SAM) again and thought it might be stuffed. but checking it again shows that the relays all had current and diagnostic shows no errors.

So, now he thinks it's the air/exhaust sensors which he said he had replace a number on other cars previously. His last testing at his place had the car running for 4hrs, but did not stall at all.
I assume is he pretty much at lost to what the problem is as i am too.

Do you guys have any ideas or suggestions or have encountered such problem?

If you need more info, would be glad to provide it.

Thanks in advance.
