E420 CRUISE CONTROL
My E420, 1997 vintage, was badly damaged on the front end 3 years ago. Essentially everything ahead of the front suspension was replaced. I just recently got it back and am in the process of fixing little odds and ends. I noticed that the cruise still works, however, it will not engage above about 62 mph. If I engage it at 60-62 mph then use the stalk to increase speed it will accelerate up to about 68 then fall out of cruise. Any thoughts out there?
