Hi, my W209 05 CLK55 Driver side handle for keyless go has stopped working, by that I mean, The handle wont recognize that the key is in range and will not unlock, as well as the locking button on the handle will not work.

What would be the issue? and is it an easy fix?

I can still lock/unlock the car with my keys.

There are a few components that could have gone south. Handle, antenna, etc.

The correct way to diagnose this would be to use the factory Star DAS/Xentry workshop computer.
