Is replacing the steering wheel a DIY project? I am considering a leather and wood wheel and want to do it myself, if possible.
Thanks

Yes, very easy. Search around for detailed instructions either here or on benzworld.com ...

The simple steps are: turn off car, remove keys from ignition; release airbag by loosening two T-27 screws behind steering wheel; disconnect airbag wires; remove bolt holding steering wheel on, it should be hex 10mm.
