I have a few questions that if someone could help me with I would be very grateful.
I am about to embark on replacing the engine and transmission in my car with rebuilt ones.
Can I fit a 420 motor without too much trouble or do I stay with the 380 motor. The 380 seems to struggle moving this car and certainly is very thirsty I think because it is underpowered.
I have also heard that a new transmission can be set up to start in first gear
instead of a second gear take off. Who in Australia can do this?
Who can I trust to purchase a reconditioned motor from, as of course these are not exactly cheap?
Thank you for any replies.
