Is anyone aware of so called "plates" being installed to stop the noisy break problem in the new Sl500's?

I've had this problem since I bought the car and they repeatedly tried the pumping break solution but it never solved the problem. Now they said they need to add plates.

Wondering exactly what that is.

What brake problem are you referring to?

The noisy breaks. Alot of the launch editions has the problem. When stopping you hear grunting. Which pits the rotors.
MB at first issued a memo about pumping the breaks which was supposed to stop it.
