key seat for 1985 380SL
Recently I acquired a 1985 MB 380SL. It was in OK condition, and I'm making good progress getting her back into really nice shape.
The ignition key tumbler has been changed. It now accepts a simple metal key: ILCO MB 18 is stamped on the key. The original valet key opens the doors, but not the trunk.
I would like to replace all the locks with a new key set. The local MB dealer says the car is too old to get a key set from MB.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
