Took it to the dealer and they reported a conductor plate is fried....

Here is my issue...

I had taken my R500 to be serviced and they totally botched up a power steering job that resulted in my exhaust manifold and transmission bolts being undone and transmission fluid pouring out of it and over everything.

Fast forward 4000 miles later.. .now my conductor plate is shorting out... could they be related?
