Odd size tire damage 2010 4Matic?




I know some AWD systems can be ruined by this, but I don't think the 4Matic is susceptible.
For instance, if I damage a tire, it's 500 miles before I can find a replacement, and I mount a worn tire.
What will happen?
You could cause extra wear on the 4matic system if one or two tires are more worn the others.








Is it only the differentials rotating slightly, or am I engaging/slipping clutches, or are the brakes repeatedly activating?
