I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. First off I have a 2007 Mercedes C280 with 74000 miles on it. Approximately 6000 miles ago it had the alternator replaced. since them I've heard a clicking noise (not metallic almost seams like heavy idle or air, hard to describe) only heard from within the car. It seems to only happen when the car is in an idle state. Also it comes and goes. Sometimes in idle it will happen then just go away. I've tried to listen from to the engine but hear nothing. Again it is only heard from within the car. Additionally, a few times the car seems to be having issues changing gears and pops into a new gear. This has only happened a few times. Ps this car is automatic. Has anyone had anything similar happen and if so what was the problem?
