2010 GLK - rear driver door & lift gate
My car just went out of warranty last month but I have slightly under 25,000 miles on it. The rear driver door will not open (all other doors lock/unlock/open fine), I can not open the door from inside the car either.
I am scheduled to drop my car off at dealer tomorrow.
Last night, I tried to open the lift gate with my key & it wouldn't open. As I got closer, I tried again and it made an odd noise & would not open. When I tried to open manually it wouldn't open all the way. I tried again with key fob & it opened. This morning the same thing happened again.
Could these be related problems?
I am very upset that I am having problems like this with so little mileage on the car & wonder if I will be able to secure any post-warranty assistance towards repair from dealer.
Thanks.
