Help with ESP, Brake Assist Errors
Today, my 2000 S430 started flashing ESP and Brake Assist failure messages.

I also noticed that while I do have power steering, the boost is much reduced and the steering is much heavier while parking. Is there something that I can take a look at before I take it to the dealer? (ouch $$$)

Most likely a bad switch on the brake pedal

I agree with Sosh. Just had mine replaced a couple of weeks ago. Same symptoms.
