curious if there is a cheaper solution to getting a key fob made/programmed other than the $300 the dealer wants. only have one key/fob for my 06 cls55 would like to have a spare as im prone to loosing things once in a while lol.

I've never found one. There are some key circuit programmers available, but the price far exceeds the dealer cost for even 2 new keys. In a perfect world, I would love to be able to reprogram an old junk yard key as I have a couple picked up over the years.
