SAM PLUG please help me to extract pin
I have some corroded wires on a plug going into my front SAM on my S550. (see pictures)
PLEASE can someone tell me which is the correct size tool to remove the individual pins (female) with on this. I see some multi purpose pin extractors for sale but not sure if they will fit this one.
Also does anyone know the actual size of the pins? I would like to buy some replacement pins and solder them on, then insert back into plug. If someone can tell me the size I will buy a selection
I can buy the whole replacement plug from Mercedes with all cables attached but would mean splicing up to 32 wires to install. Also vehicle is flood damaged so there may well be other plugs with same problem which is why I'd rather buy the pins and the tool to extract/insert them, then I can solder them and replace them as needed
