Long story but need advice on how to get Mercedes to foot the bill (£1500) for a replacement SBC unit which has reached it's 300k applications! Service agent in Sheffield (genuine) have said, after submitting a sympathetic warrany claim that MB will not pay or contribute to repairing a fault that they introduced when the car was first born.
I have read many, and seen many you tube downloads about cars up to 10years old being repared FOC.
How can I approach MB about a contibution at least to a problem they implanted in the car when it was produced?
Any help would be welcome - after all Christmas is coming and the kids need new shoes!!!!!!
