My girlfriend got into an accident and messed up the front bumper I'm trying to repair the car myself when I found this little guy laying on whats left of the bottom part of the front bumper



can anyone tell me what this is and where it goes?

 

This is a ambient (outside) temperature sensor which fits lower part of front bumper.

Does the sensor look damaged or is it suppose to look like this?

 

It's damage. You should fix new sensor. It's not much expensive.
