HELP! 2001 C230 Kompressor trunk locked, battery disconnected
Hello,
I've been having quite a fit with my 2001 C230 Kompressor Sport. The blower for the heater/ AC would not turn off, even when knob was turned to 0 and the car was turned off. I disconnected the battery and that stopped the problem.. (thank god or else I would have been dealing with a Christine haha). I shut the already locked trunk with battery disconnected and walked away for a bit. Came back and the metal key in the plastic buttoned key would not mechanically open the trunk lock. I have fiddled with it for hours with WD40.... no luck. I also looked for a possible terminal under the hood get some electricity in it but no luck again. Maybe I'm not in the right place idk. Any help on how to get into my trunk would be awesome!
Thank you!

You'll need 2nd person to help you.
Using jumper cables, connect the earth cable to the engine block.
Get under the vehicle and touch the positive cable to the power cable on the back of the alternator. Whist you're doing this get the second person to open the boot with the remote or button on the dash.
Had this problem enough times not to worry about it anymore
