I got a brand new C 300 4Matic luxury sedan about two months ago. The shifting is NOT smooth. Three days at the dealer made it better but not 100%. The car is back with the dealer. I have had about 7 brand new MBs in the past, none had a problem except this one. My spouse has an E 350 4Matic, we also got it brand new, it is smooth as silk. Question, what can I do if they cannot fix it 100%? For the first time I leased this car for 36 months.

Keep taking it back until it's right. Being so new obviously something wasn't right ex factory. Work with your Dealer to get it rectified rather than argue with them, weather it be road testing with them or leaving it as long as they need it. It's the best way to get it fixed for the long term.

Ausmbtech; thNaks for the comment. Fortunately we have an excellent Dealer in town and I will p, as you suggested, continue to work with them. I hope the issue will be resolved quickly.
