Limp mode
Hi, my w203 goes into limp mode when I accelerate from rest. I have had a problem with a leak from the auto gearbox which has now been addressed by replacing a faulty electronic speed sensor panel and plug. Any ideas ?

mate you need to check for fault codes in the transmission , generic obd2 readers show fults in engine only ... first step you should read out faults in tranny , based on these faults we can see how to solve that issue of urs ...
one thing you can do is check oil level and check if it smells weird ( burnt )

Thanks, my mate is a mechanic for mercedes Benz and used their state of the art computer which showed gloplug failure. The car was originally in for a problem with the gearbox which required the electroplate being replaced, and the plug and gearbox serviced. The fault of limp mode and gloplug light coming on was already happening.
