280SEL Euro running rough...help
I just bought a 1985 280sel euro w126
when I bought the car 4 days ago the old owner told me that if you don't start the car and let it warm up it will bog down and lose power under any load at all, but if you start it and let it run for a while it would be fine.
well when I drove it home it "acted up" all the way home "30 miles" the next morning I started the car to go to work and let it warm up first and it ran great, started it that evening I had a hard time starting it, it would start then stall finely it stayed running let it warm up and it ran bad all the way home "8 miles". next morning same thing great in the morning hard time starting and run bad home. the other guy said he changed the fuel pump, filter,spark plugs, wires, and it did not help.
so very long story does anyone have some suggestions on what to check? could it be the OVP relay?
