2001 E55 and 96 C280
Need Help!! 2001 E55 engine
I have a 2001 E55 I need to replace the engine but I need to know what other engine will work. Can I install a ML55,S55 engine without any major problems or issue.


I HAVE A MONEY PIT OF A CAR

2020 E 300 Coupe and 2019 GLS 400
As far as I know, any N/A AMG M113 engine will hook up directly to the transmission (722.6).
I read in the C43 section mixed opinions regarding the adaptation of the stock ECU/TCU to the new engine, you'll find useful info there.
I'm not sure about the other stuff (physical dimensions, mounts )
