CLK 200
CLk 200 Model 208 Brake Pipes
Car has been well maintained since new and no signs of corrosion last MOT but this time apparently brake pipes from front to rear over fuel tank excessively corroded and requires replacement. Was not even on the Advisory last MOT?

Front nearside Coil Spring needs replacing as well.

Got one quote from a gargae which services and repairs Mercs,BMWs and Audis of £282- which i think sounds fair. When I asked Mercedes they wanted £218- + VAT for the spring and some £700- for the brake pipe replacement??? Saying but the rear axle has to be dropped ...

Advice welcome ...
