Command Online 2014
Started leasing a 2014 e220
It has Command Online as standard (BMW IDRIVE blows this Mercedes system out of the water btw lol for any beamer fan boys out there!)
Any way
I want to do the send to car option on google maps like I do in my bmw. I no for a fact bmw has its own internal sim card and you have a special account setup for you (connected drive) by bmw dealership so when i do this send to car option for the bmw i just put in my user name and it just appears in the car
Does the Mercedes have its own sim card? or do i always have to have the phone connected? Every where i read it says on google send to car use your command online id??? what is this id?? or it mentions your email address you type into your car?? Is this referring to when you first connect to the command online and you create that account? Or use your vin plate number?
Little bit confused. If any one who has the send to car from google maps working correctly i greatly appreciate it if you could explain how you set it all up
Was nightmare alone just to get connected using an android phone on ee network lol. first had to install a modem made app then go off and find out all the ee network connection details.
Forgot to mention im from the UK we dont get that nice fancy mbrace app!

Tried VIN number and that worked
Sooooooo much easier in the beamer :P
I sure hope that MBrace app sorts all these little problems out and its just us europeons suffering lol
