Rear turn signal not working on factory installed LED
Hello. I am having an issue with my 2009 ML320 which has the factory's installed rear LED lights. My right rear turn signal has stopped working. From time to time it does come on but over the last two weeks 99% of the time it does not come on. Occasionally it does blink but at a very low brightness that can barely be visible.
I originally assumed that the LED strip has failed and so I purchased a new used lamp from the wreckers. After installation I still had the same issue. Trying to eliminate the potential coincidence of both lamps having a failed strip, I replaced it for another again. Still same issue, so it looks like the actual lamp assembly is not the problem here.
There is electricity coming in to the light assembly. All other turn signals and lights are working fine.
So, is there a turn signal relay or module I should be looking at as my next step? If so where are they located and how can they be tested? Any other suggestions?
