how to obtain abs/bas/esp data????

i have a 2001 clk 55

my lights are on......

they come on after engine start abs/bas then esp once the car reaches about 7-9 mph.

I checked to see if the brake lights work and unfortunately they do. woulda been nice if that switch was the culprit.

how does one find out what is failing?........my scanner only reads engine diagnostics.

is there a different scanner i need to buy to communicate with the TCS?

thx in advance.

additional info:

when i say they come on i mean the message across the lcd.....the lights stay on.

also before complete failure i did see some intermittent faults before hand.

what happened was the lights would come on and the lcd.....i would stop and reset the ignition....lights would stay on but once the car reached about 6 or so mph they would go out....

gut reaction.......wheel sensor.....but i don't want to just randomly buy parts and throw them at the car.

or will i need to?

you need to find someone who has a star diagnostic system to properly diagnose the car. dealer, or possibly good indie.
