2003 c class coupe 220cdi
I NEED HELP drivers door dead AGAIN

Started intermittant fault power on power off windows door indicator no power changed door dcm from ebay salvage 2 times worked for a while
Had 12v going to dcm are there any other wires that should have voltage ,does anyone have a wiring diagram,anyone know the common wire that may break any and i mean any help much appricated dont want to buy a new one from mercedes if its just going to blow it..
Note door has nothing working for past 3 days tryed changing to old d.c.m. no joy again thank you for any info.

check were the the rubber accordion piece that fits between the door and chassis, sometimes wires get broken in there.

Hi thanks ive looked there is no damage to the wireing got in car today and its working again i know the car sends signals is there anything like software updates that need doing at mercedes or is it normal as this seems to be a common fault thanks again for replie cant seem to find loom when it enters car but no rubbing marks or anything.

the loom is inside the rubber piece and it really sounds like a wire in there is cut, or shorting out. it's a common problem on mercedes.

Thanks will have to cut off the outer wrap on the wire and further investgate it tomorrow cheers for your input if you come across anything else greatly appricated.

i hope were talking about the same wires. i'm talking about the wires inside the rubber accordion piece at the front of the door.

Yes m8 ehin the rubber door gromet there wrapped in black fabric thats what am getting at cutting off the fabric not the wires many thanks again for the help much appricated

Been fine all this time found a faulty wire in the drivera side footwell by blue black connector need further inveatigation but it a loose connection but all working for now drove me mad last night with the lights on and door alarm going found the wire down there quite a few to look through but happy days :-)
