'98 ML 320
removing E.C.U.

Im gettin the ECU on my ml320 remapped by evosport and i was wondering if anyone knows how to properly remove the ECU (also its location in the car--??) and how to package/ship it safely.... re-installation tips would be appreciated as well....thanks for the help in advance

The ME control unit is Under the fuse box next to the AAM control unit..remove the torx that secure the fuse box and unplug / lift out the ME control unit
The Battery MUST be Disconected Before doing this!
I would wrap it a anti static bag and ship NEXT day Fed Ex!
