Question ML350 Blinking Fuel Reserve Light

While driving on highway, 65mph, noticed my fuel reserve light continuously blinking. Tank was 3/4 full. No performance issue. When I shut the engine and started it later, the blinking had stopped. I wasn't sure if it was a door ajar indicator. Anyone have this happen to them.

Blinking fuel reserve light is usually the first indication of a fuel cap that is not on tightly. In your case by rebooting it stopped and if it has not come on again it was most likely an abnomality in the computer that a reboot solved. keep your eye on it. If it occurs again report it to your dealer. Had this happen to me once in the 98 I owned and it never occurred again
