Does anyone no if there is a specific way to install a new floor shift selector assembly. I pulled codes using STAR and Autologic and traced the problem to a floor shifter malfunction. Received the new used shifter but I am unable to install the front bolt as there is a pin covering the bolt and the shifter will not move from the park detent. HELP. Do i need to run adaptations or relearn so the ETC recognizes the new shifter before it will shift? Any help is appreciated
