2002 Mercedes E320 4Matic
E320 4Matic Check Engine code p0702 Transmission Control System Electrical

Hey guys I have a 2002 E320 4matic and a week ago my alternator got messed up and my car ended up dying so i got it towed to mercedes and after they put a new battery in i got the alternator replaced but ever since they put the battery in I got the check engine light and the code was p0702 Transmission Control System Electrical so I was wondering if you guys could me figure out whats wrong with my car now.

May be an unrelated coincidence, check the 13 pin harness connector (pilopt bushing) fluid leak can cause fluid to traverse all the way up the harness into the transmission control module (ETC). If fine, have dealer revisit at no cost to clear fault stored code(s) using MB DAS in the process they should identify if there are any sub codes identifying problem.
